The West Cottage is on Domino!

Our "new" front house, The West Cottage, is on Domino today! This lil' craftsman home stands just 8' west of #TheTinyCanalCottage. The two units are so small and closely situated that they share a porch, garden, and washer + dryer.

The Tiny Canal Cottage® is a 1920's Craftsman-style house by the Venice Beach Canals in Southern California. It is home to Creative Director Whitney Leigh Morris, her husband, their son, and two rescue beagles.

I’ve just accepted it. Some things will never change. 🤦🏻‍♀️

When we got pregnant with West, I actually had no idea whether or not I could conceive, as I’d never tried before. I was genuinely shocked when we became pregnant immediately, and everything stayed on-track. Despite being labeled a “High Risk” situation due to my age, it was a textbook healthy pregnancy. (I’m surrounded by women who had very different experiences, so I know how fortunate Adam and I were, and we are both still so deeply grateful for that.) While we still haven’t decided whether or not to try for a sibling for West, we’re certainly discussing the possibility. Next year I’ll turn 38, and my body has changed in a myriad of mysterious ways since birthing my son. A rare date night at home with @adamwinkleman 🖤🏡✨🕯

This is our “new” vintage coffee table from @shopsupermarche, but after seeing how well it works in a small space (with a small human), I’m tempted to design something similar for others to enjoy.🤔💭🖊 Also— it’s kind of hilarious how normal the ferns look in the second photo during yesterday’s bike ride back from @fioredesigns versus how humongous they feel in our tiny Cottage.🌿 Totally into it.
